The Tuolumne River Trail is a winding path that follows the course of its namesake river in Modesto. The scenic trail captures the true beauty of the region's landscape as it loops through dense riverside woodlands.
The trail also provides access to the developing Tuolumne River Regional Park. On the northern leg of the loop, plane spotters will appreciate the trail's run close to Modesto City–County Airport.
Parking for the Tuolumne River Trail is available in the large parking lots for Tuolumne River Regional Park on Tioga Drive in Modesto.
Had a nice walk with our family and dog on trail. The river and flora were beyond what we expected and a great way to spend 3 hours. I must say that the homeless population in the park was a little concerning but mostly kept to themselves.
Enjoyed the short bike ride on his trail. Found the park by gps: 1198 Tioga in Modesto. Parking on the street was all handicap. Found large parking lot off the street right before that lot in the park.
The trail was very beautiful and peaceful. It's family friendly and quiet.
Me and my wife have been on this trail 7 or 8 times have yet to make it end to end but we Love it. The views are to die for. We have started at both ends always find amazing views.
