The Split Rail Trail takes trail-goers north along Split Rail Lane through a residential area in South Snyderville Basin. The paved neighborhood trail provides access to Willow Creek Park's athletic fields and fishing pond in the south and the Willow Creek Trail in the north.
From Interstate 80, take exit 145 onto State Route 224 to Park City. Travel for 2.4 miles, then take a left on W. Old Ranch Road; travel a half mile to the entrance of Willow Creek Park & Trailhead.
Part of the interconnecting and growing Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District Trail System, Excellent surface, several street grade crossings. From Willow Creek TH, an asphalt surfaced trail goes west on the north side of Old Ranch Rd and connects with Olympic Parkway at Hwy 224 N40.69237 W111.54404 Noel Keller 5 May 2011
