The South Bentonville Trail runs for approximately 2.5 miles through southern Bentonville, providing an off-road link from Rogers to both industrial and residential areas of the city. In the north, the trail meets the Town Branch Trail, allowing trail users to continue seamlessly to Bentonville's charming downtown on Central Avenue (State Route 72).
Along the South Bentonville Trail's route, access is easy to Bentonville High School, the Sam's Club Home Office (via the connecting Members Place Trail) and the sprawling Northwest Medical Center. While there is a short share-the-road stretch along SE P Street, much of the trail is surprisingly scenic, especially where it passes through wetlands and along a creek.
In the south, the trail links directly with the Horsebarn Trail in Rogers. Both of these trails, along with the Town Branch Trail to the north, are central components of the Razorback Regional Greenway, a 46-mile, primarily off-road, shared-use trail that extends from southeast Bella Vista to the southern edge of Fayetteville.
Parking for the South Bentonville Trail may be available at Bentonville High School (1801 SE J Street). Alternatively, park in Rogers at the Horsebarn Trailhead Park (Horsebarn Road and 52nd Street), and take the Horsebarn Trail north a short distance to the start of the South Bentonville Trail where the two cities meet.
