San Gabriel Park is a recreational gem for residents and visitors to Georgetown. A granite trail loops through the 180-acre park, offering access to its many amenities, including baseball and soccer fields, exercise stations, a skate park, volleyball court, and a dog park. The trail is also the perfect place for a family outing with large, shady oak trees and picnic pavilions, a playground, and easy access to restrooms.
At the southern end of the park, you can pick up the Winfred H. Bonner Trail by crossing the pedestrian bridge over San Gabriel River for an additional mile of walking or biking. Another option is to head west along the north bank of the river on the paved Randy Morrow Trail.
San Gabriel Park is located at 445 E. Morrow Street and easily accessible from I-35.
The trial is very nice and lots of beautiful views along the way. My family and I love it. :)
