The Saguaro Trail runs east to west through residential areas of Henderson, connecting residents with three trails and two popular parks. In the east, the trail begins in Saguaro Park, a 6-acre amenity centered on a large grassy area suitable for all kinds of recreation. The park is also just across Magic Way from Equestrian Park North and the Equestrian North Trail contained within.
Continuing westward, the trail meets the Downs 5 Trail, which heads north for less than a mile to Newport Drive. Farther west, the Saguaro Trail emerges into Roadrunner Park, which offers another grassy area along with picnic and playground facilities. After a short gap, the trail ends at its intersection with the Boulder Highway Trail. Hop on that trail for a longer journey north or south.
Parking and restrooms for the Saguaro Trail are available at Saguaro Park (600 Pounds Way).
Just a great place to stretch your legs.
If one crosses Magic Way to the east where Saguaro Trail intersects you link up with the North Equestrian Park and Trail. The Equestrian Trail loops through the park in figure 8's and connects to the River Mountains Loop Trail at the eastern most edge of the park. These connections provide for long safe extended rides and trail opportunties...Nevhiker 6/07/12
Parked at Saguaro Park N36.02142 W114.94260 , found the trail on the north side of the park. An enjoyable ride down grade. Trail surface in fine shape. The Down 5 Trail must be a spur off to the north. I missed the turn off. The trail west of Racetrack Rd was called the Roadrunner Trail by a Park employee that I asked. May be due to the Roadrunner Park. That part of the trail meanders to both sides of the wash. Is not surfaced for a short distance where it would join the Boulder Hwy Trail. Noel Keller 24 Apr 2012
