The Rocky Branch Trail offers beautiful views of the Raleigh city skyline, while also passing through the length of the North Carolina State University campus. It also links to Pullen Park, which has an aquatics center, arts center, amusements and community center, as well as softball fields and tennis courts.
At its northwest end, the trail connects with the Reedy Creek Trail. At its southeast end, the Rocky Branch Trail connects with the Walnut Creek Trail, which heads east and west through Raleigh.
Parking lots are available around the 800 block of S Boylan Avenue, along Tate Drive, and at 520 Ashe Avenue. View the TrailLink map for detailed directions.
Was staying downtown Raleigh and wanted to find a nice place to run. This was it. Very nice trail through the campus of NC State. Was easy to get to and the scenery and trail is very enjoyable.
Oh yeah babey sick trail this one
Wy family and I did trail for first time yesterday and enjoyed it. It was easy enough for my 6 yo to do and he had a blAst going through the tunnel. We hooked up with Walnut Creek Trail and enjoyed that too.
The trail is nice but most of it right now is under construction.
