Wichita's Midtown Bike Path is a short stretch of paved path that cuts diagonally across the city’s Midtown neighborhood on a former Missouri Pacific Railroad corridor. The trail features Victorian-style lighting, benches, brick columns and steel archways, landscaped gardens and a plaza in Otis Park designed to resemble a railroad turntable.
From the Midtown Bike Path’s southern endpoint, continue west along Central Avenue (or south on Waco Avenue and then west on 1st Street) to cross the Arkansas River and meet up with the Arkansas River Bike Path.
Parking for the Midtown Bike Path can be found on neighborhood streets along the trail’s route.
