Paralleling W. Madison Street, the Madison Street Trail is a sidepath that provides access between nearby residences and public facilities. Gardner Edgerton High School is located near the western end of the trail. In the east, a short trip up the N. Center Street sidewalk leads to the Center Street Trail, which leads to Sunflower Elementary School and residences in North Gardner.
