Kinkora Rail Trail Description

The Kinkora Rail Trail will one day span 13 miles between Mansfield and Springfield Township.

In 2014, Springfield Township completed a small segment of the rail-trail that connects with the internal trail network of Veterans Memorial Park. That segment currently ends at the intersection with Island Road.

North of this, an additional 1.5 mile section was completed by Burlington County, stretching from Mansfield Township Park in Columbus, NJ, southeast to Island Road. An on-street section on Island Road connects the two segments.

Parking and Trail Access

For the longer segment, there is parking for the longer segment at Mansfield Township Park (190 Atlantic Ave, Columbus NJ 08022).

Parking for the southern segment is available at Springfield Township's Veterans Memorial Park

Kinkora Rail Trail Reviews

such a pleasant ride

I sure did enjoy this ride. Not a loop but a wonderful 4 mile ride with turning around when you meet the road. Nice smooth asphalt wide path.

Good Trail

This trail is nice, and i’m glad that i live close to it. It hurt my feet a few times, but is is nice for hiking and biking. It does not go in a full loop at the time though so keep that in mind. 9/10

Great for a family ride

We took our 5 and 10 year old and it was perfect for them. Wide, smooth paved path and very flat. Found some picnic benches on the trail overlooking a farm. Kids enjoyed watching the farm equipment.

Pleasant surprise

I was very pleased to hear that Mansfield Twp. had completed the rail trail/ bike path at the park. I took my first ride today and really enjoyed myself. Looking for to when it connects to Springfields trail which I road on last week. I was told that they will one day connect to Pembertons trail. This will make for a great ride.
Thanks for all the hard work!
