Another section of the Indian Creek Trail travels north from Sunset Park to the active railroad tracks behind the houses on 14th Avenue, while a third segment cuts diagonally southeast from Sunset Park through residential neighborhoods on an abandoned Wabash Railroad corridor.
Be sure to stop at Joseph Katelman Water Park in Sunset Park for a dip in the pool, or bring a tennis racket or baseball glove and make use of the recreational facilities at Sunset Park.
There are two parking options available along the trail. At Sunset Park (near 1230 16th Ave), there is parking near the trail and further north at Broadway Park (1300 W Broadway) there is additional parking for the northern end of the trail.
