Print Friendly MapThis short trail serves Hillcrest Ranch and the surrounding communities in Glendale. The trail also provides easy access to the short 67th Avenue Trail and can be connected to the much longer New River Trail using streets and sidewalks.
Parking for the Hillcrest Ranch Trail is available at Hillcrest Park, located at the intersection of 71st Avenue and Hillcrest Boulevard in Glendale.

The trail is just walking on pedestrian sidewalks through a residential neighborhood. There is nothing to look at - just houses and back fences of the homes and cars going in and out of the neighborhood. Not very relaxing or anything. There is a small park and a small elementary school for the neighborhood kids by the community HOA. Not my definition of "trail." You can walk on this type of pedestrian sidewalk just anywhere in the city. I am not sure why it is featured as a trail and listed on this site as if it is worth the visit.
