The bulk of the High Canal Bridge Pathway runs alongside its namesake waterway, offering scenic views and a sense of serenity in the middle of the ritzy Marin County communities of Larkspur and Corte Madera. While most of the trail is paved, a short section is surfaced with crushed stone.
In the north, the trail intersects the Sandra Marker Trail before curving around wetlands to provide access to Redwood High School. In the south, the trail leaves the canal to reach Neil Cummins Elementary School and cut through Corte Madera's popular Town Park.
Parking for the High Canal Bridge Pathway is available at Town Park (498 Tamalpais Drive) in Corte Madera.
