Paid parking is available at the Gaylord Texan Hotel and Convention Center (1501 Gaylord Trail) at the trail's midpoint.
This is a wide, paved trail at the end of the Grapevine trail complex. If one turns right (north) at Park Road 7 and follows it around to N. Dooley or head west at the top of the hill on Ruth Wall Rd onto Dove Loop Rd, the paved trail there goes another 10 miles along Lake Grapevine, through Oak Grove Park and Horseshoe Park ending at N. Kimball Ave. Turn right onto Kimball and keep heading north another mile through residential streets to Lakeview Park. There are restrooms, water stops and bike repair facilities at several places along the way. There are few hills, lots of trees and lake which make for a gratifying ride or walk. At the other end of the trail, one can now ride/walk the newly opened trail 3 miles to Grapevine Mills Mall.
