Following a narrow, manmade waterway, the Fairmount Trail winds its way from Arvada to Golden. Along this flat, gravel and dirt pathway, trail-goers will enjoy scenic views of North Table Mountain and pass through residential areas. A connection to the Ralston Creek Trail is available from its northern end, while a spur to North Table Mountain Park is sure to please hikers in search of stunning views from the mesa.
Parking is available near the trail's southern tip at the Tony Grampsas Memorial Sports Complex in Golden.
Several different trailheads make this a fun spot to try many times. It is deceptively big and can be challenging or moderate depending on the route you choose. It is very popular- and in the fitness crazed Golden CO area, so you will meet others on the way.
