The Cactus Wren Trail is a short connector between two much longer trails in Henderson: the I-215 East Beltway Trail in the north and the Amargosa Trail in the south. The wide, paved trail runs along an irrigation channel for its entire route, and a short spur near its midpoint provides access to residents of the neighborhoods along Ivanpah Drive.
There are no parking areas for the Cactus Wren Trail, but access is easy from both the I-215 East Beltway Trail and the Amargosa Trail. The closest parking lot along the Amargosa Trail is in Cactus Wren Park (2900 Ivanpah Drive); take the trail three blocks west to reach the Cactus Wren Trail.
A peaceful trail with natural desert plants along the way. A fun way to go from 215 up to Saint Rose rather than going along Eastern.
