The Bloomington Rail Trail is a 2-mile segment of crushed stone that runs through a suburban wooded corridor. The trail extends between W. Country Club Drive in the north and Church Lane in the south.
Just north of Church Lane, the trail intersects the Clear Creek Rail Trail. The trail now connects with the 1.8-mile Limestone Greenway, which continues south of Bloomington.
Parking is available off of W. Church Lane, just east of the trail crossing, and at the northern terminus on the south side of Country Club Road.
I am new to biking, and do not want to ride on the roads. This has been a fun trail to ride on and get back into biking. The ride isn't too challenging, but there are some small incline areas. But that really isn't my point anyway. I want to get out, be active, and enjoy my time. Happy to have found this trail.
I live near this trail and love the connection between the Clear Creek Trail and the B-line. :)
