Students of the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs will appreciate the Austin Bluffs Trail. It runs through the campus, connecting the north and east sides of the school. The trail travels east along the Austin Bluffs Parkway from the Interstate 25 Business Loop for about 2 miles.
From the trail's eastern tip, don't miss the opportunity to check out nearby Palmer Park. Access the park from the Templeton Gap Trail on the other side of N. Union Boulevard and be rewarded with outstanding views of the Seven Castles rock formations. The park also offers botanical gardens, picturesque picnic spots and miles of scenic trails.
Parking for the trail can be found throughout the University of Colorado campus.
